A Break, Workout 11 and 12
If you follow me on twitter (if you don’t there’s a link to the right!) you would have known I have been a little sick the last days, more tired than sick I suppose, not feeling 100% in any case. So I had a few days rest and am feeling a heap better, and was ready to crack back into the workouts.
Workout 11
Good to be back! I kicked it off with “Workout Day 2“. Took it a little bit easy due to it being my first day back, didn’t want to over do it too much. My workout was a bit out of order to day, the Incline and Flat Bench press coming last instead of first, makes it REALLY hard to push out 6 sets each, so I copped it to 3 sets each. I didn’t want to be crushed under the bar so I dropped the weight a little bit just to be safe. Better safe than sorry. I increased the weight on the Incline and Flat DB presses and the Close Grip press as well. Was REALLY hard so It will be interesting to see how this improves next week. The HIIT run didn’t go very well, my right shin got sore within a few minutes which really sucks, I pushed throught it and finished the 15 minutes anyway. I also started on Creatine today as this is the end of my 2nd week of the program.

Workout 12
I did “Workout Day 3” today. Probably shouldn’t have pushed my shins as hard as I did. My right shin even hurt to walk today, which is really lame. So I replaced a run with 10 mintues on the bike and 5 minutes on the rowing machine. I didn’t burn as many calories but it really took it out of me! Show’s how quickly the body can get used to the same routine. I forgot to take my Creatine before my workout today but I had some after. I’ll try and remeber tomorrow! I increased the weight on the Shoulder Flies and Cable Pull Downs today. I tried to increase on the Arnie Presses, going up to 15KG but my shoulders almost snapped off, so I will try that again next week
